REFLECTION

AE 481W and AE482 has allowed me to use the knowledge gained over the past five years in the analysis of the Ringley. The culmination of all of the courses was evident as I completed my various analyses. Having a background in all aspects of building construction allowed me to have a holistic approach to the senior thesis process. Looking back I think this thesis along with the CPEP website has allowed us students to showcase what we've learned in the AE program in a unique way. If I had to do it over again I would definitely set a more structured schedule for myself throughout the semester and follow it closely.

ABET

A survey was completed to assess the execution of ABET requirements in relation to this course. A copy of this survey can be found here

Note: While great efforts have been taken to provide accurate and complete information on the pages of CPEP, please be aware that the information contained herewith is considered a work‐in progress for this thesis project. Modifications and changes related to the original building designs and construction methodologies for this senior thesis project are solely the interpretation of Josh Kappel. Changes and discrepancies in no way imply that the original design contained errors or was flawed. Differing assumptions, code references, requirements, and methodologies have been incorporated into this thesis project; therefore, investigation results may vary from the original design.
